1.) Warner Bros. Records: R.E.M. Tickets Prove Hotter Than Hot

Irish Police are investigating the apparent theft of 122 R.E.M. concert tickets for the band's forthcoming sold-out Olympia Theatre show on Saturday, June 30th, 2007. The tickets disappeared in transit between the UK and their arrival at the venue box office on Friday, March 30th, 2007. The tickets in question are ALL STANDING TICKETS and are for SATURDAY, JUNE 30th only. The SEQUENCE NUMBERS are 0379 to 0500 inclusive. While there is no evidence to date that tickets have shown up on known scalper websites, R.E.M. STRONGLY URGES FANS NOT TO PURCHASE R.E.M. tickets at inflated prices from unofficial sources as they run the risk of being stolen.

All missing tickets have now been cancelled and deemed invalid by promoters; as a result, holders will be refused entry on the night. Strict security and ticket checks by Irish Police will be in operation for the concert as the police investigation continues. As tickets for this show were exclusively available from the band's international ti...

5.) Rykodisc: Master American Songwriter Jeff Finlin to Release "Angels In Disguise" April 3, 2007

With the Rykodisc debut release of Jeff Finlin's "Angels In Disguise" on April 3, 2007, U.S. audiences will be introduced to a natural Americana poet with raw, emotional honesty and intensity. The skillfully composed roots-rock inflected album is, at its core, the inner-reflection of a man coming to terms with his life. A vivid and poetic storyteller, Finlin's music breathes life with a down-home, every-man appeal. It recalls the work of Randy Newman, Tom Waits and other pioneering American artists who have channeled their personal world experiences through their own distinctive voices.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, the grandson of Irish railroad workers, Jeff Finlin's songs are littered with the American landscape. Stories of travels, late nights and a deeper insight into American living are recurring themes throughout his music -- which has been likened to that of John Hiatt, Bob Dylan and Dr. John.

Uncut magazine has described Finlin as, "a real find," and the Chicago Sun-Ti...

Not far behind Michigan and Ohio State in overall sales is the USC and Notre Dame game November 25th in Los Angeles. The Fighting Irish escaped a loss to USC's cross-town rival UCLA with a dramatic last second victory in South Bend over the weekend. The Trojans remained idle and in the top th...

9.) Rykodisc: Belinda Carlisle Returns With "Voila!"

Belinda Carlisle's "Voila!," her first new album in a decade, and her first record sung entirely in French, is a radical departure for the pop diva and lead singer of the Go-Go's. Working with producer John Reynolds (U2, Sinéad O'Connor, Indigo Girls, Hothouse Flowers), Carlisle has fashioned a traditional pop album that pays tribute to the classic French chansons and pop music of the '40s, '50s and '60s. Just in time for Valentine's Day, the album is set for release on February 6, 2007.

"After I moved to France, I became familiar with the classic French chansons and a lot of French pop music," Carlisle explains. "I realized there was a whole world of artists and singers I was not familiar with. As I discovered all these amazing songs, I came to love this music and wanted to record some of them with a playful, contemporary feel."

Carlisle and Reynolds went into the studio with a musical dream team including Brian Eno on keyboards, guitarist Fianchna O'Braonain (Hothouse Fl...
